Commercial Litigation Senior Associate or Senior Counsel — Austin

Well-established national law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join its Austin litigation team supporting healthcare, life sciences and education matters. The role focuses on complex commercial disputes across state and federal courts, with opportunities in arbitration and administrative proceedings.

The successful candidate will handle all phases of litigation including investigations, discovery, pleadings, depositions, motion practice, mediations and client counseling. This is a collaborative, client-facing position that will work closely with industry-focused litigators and business units.

• 6–8 years of commercial litigation experience (minimum ~6 years for Senior Associate; ~8 years for Senior Counsel)
• Experience in state and federal court; arbitration and administrative matter experience a plus; second-chair trial or arbitration experience preferred
• Healthcare litigation experience preferred
• Excellent academic record, superior legal writing and analytical skills, and strong interpersonal/teamwork abilities
• Texas bar admission or commitment to obtain admission promptly
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required
