Compensation & Benefits Associate — Employment & Labor, Los Angeles

Senior associate role in a national compensation and benefits practice supporting executive and equity-based compensation matters. The team advises on executive compensation, equity plans and related disclosure and tax issues across corporate transactions and capital markets work.

The role requires strong drafting and analytical skills, and offers exposure to M&A, IPOs and proxy disclosure work. The group provides a comprehensive benefits package and formal onboarding for new employees.

• 3-6 years' experience in compensation and benefits, with a focus on executive and equity-based compensation
• Experience with proxy disclosures, employment and severance agreements, and IRC Sections 280G and 409A
• Transactional experience advising on compensation issues in M&A and IPOs
• Excellent academic record, superior writing, oral communication and analytical skills
