Compensation & Benefits Associate — Employment & Labor — New York

Leading U.S. law firm seeks an experienced Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its New York employment practice. The role focuses on advising on executive and equity-based compensation, employee benefits, and related transactional and securities work.

Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing equity and executive compensation arrangements, proxy and disclosure documents, employment and severance agreements, and advising on IRC Sections 280G and 409A in the context of M&A and public offerings. The team supports both transactional matters and ongoing employee compensation programs.

• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in compensation & benefits, executive compensation, or employee benefits
• Hands-on experience with equity plans, executive compensation, proxy disclosure and employment/severance agreements
• Practical knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A and their application in M&A and IPO contexts
• Excellent writing, oral communication and analytical skills; strong academic record
