Existing Compensation & Benefits team seeks a senior associate to advise on tax‑qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans. The role focuses on ERISA compliance, plan design and administration, drafting plan documents and disclosures, compliance testing, IRS and DOL filings and audits, and corrective actions.

The position also involves counseling on benefit issues arising in corporate transactions, including M&A, and supports transactional and employee‑benefit diligence. The team values strong writing, analytical skills and client counseling ability.

Minimum 6 years of post‑qualification experience advising on ERISA, tax‑qualified retirement plans and health & welfare plans
Demonstrated experience drafting plan documents and disclosures, handling compliance testing, IRS and DOL filings/audits, and correction programs
Experience advising on benefit plan issues in M&A and other transactions; ESOP and plan‑asset experience a plus
Excellent academic record with superior writing, oral communication and analytical skills
