Conflicts Clearance Attorney, Compliance & Regulatory — New York

Seeking a conflicts clearance attorney to join the General Counsel's Office of a leading global law firm in New York. The role focuses on managing the firm’s new business intake and conflicts clearance processes, conducting detailed conflicts analyses, and drafting and implementing waivers and ethical walls as needed.

The successful candidate will advise and train attorneys and staff on ethical obligations and firm policies, respond to urgent after-hours conflicts inquiries as part of an on-call rotation, and help maintain high standards of compliance and confidentiality across matters.

• Juris Doctor and admission to the bar.
• Minimum 3 years' experience handling conflicts, ethics, or business intake in a large law-firm environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of professional responsibility rules and strong ethical judgment.
• Excellent analytical, research, written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
• Experience with conflicts databases and standard office software; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours/on-call rotation and to adjust hours as needed.
