A well-established cyber, data and privacy practice is seeking an associate to join its expanding US team. The group is made up of more than 30 dedicated attorneys across the US, Europe and Asia, and works with a broad range of clients including emerging and public companies, leading technology businesses, financial institutions, life sciences companies and national media organizations.

The role centers on counseling and advisory work, while also covering the privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, state and federal investigations, and litigation-related matters. This is an opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility, engage directly with clients and lead significant projects within a collaborative, international team.

The position is open across multiple US office locations.

Four to seven years of experience advising clients on cyber, data and privacy compliance, in a law firm or in-house setting
Familiarity with CCPA, CPRA, GDPR and other privacy law frameworks
Experience with information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions
Experience drafting data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions
Data breach response and incident response planning experience
Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects
Excellent analytical and writing skills
