Join a global New Business & Enterprise Risk (NB&ER) conflicts team responsible for conflict clearance, matter inception and information-barrier management across multiple jurisdictions. The role sits within a legal/risk function and works closely with conflicts lawyers in London, Sydney and the US.

Day-to-day duties include managing global conflict checks, applying US conflicts rules and drafting waivers, advising lawyers on clearances and ethical questions, contributing to matter risk assessments (including sanctions and financial crime considerations), and supporting improvements to conflicts technology and processes.

  • Law degree and LPC (or equivalent)
  • At least 1 year relevant experience in conflicts/acceptance work in a professional services or law firm environment (consideration given for candidates with less experience who can demonstrate required competencies)
  • Practical understanding of US conflicts rules and their application
  • Strong research, analytical and commercial awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks under pressure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
