Apply in confidence →Short-term opportunity to join a market-leading international law firm’s flexible resourcing team as an interim data privacy lawyer supporting a major financial services client. The role is a full-time, six-month assignment with an expectation of three days per week in the London office.
The assignment is transactional and advisory in scope: you will conduct DPIAs, lead vendor due-diligence (DDQ) reviews, manage data subject access requests and data-loss incidents, support privacy-related HR matters, and contribute to the development and implementation of privacy frameworks. You will be supported by a sponsoring partner and have access to the firm’s resources and know-how while on assignment.
- Qualified lawyer (UK) with demonstrable data privacy / data protection experience
- Prior experience supporting or working within a financial services client
- Practical experience conducting DPIAs and vendor DDQ reviews
- Experience handling data subject requests, data loss events and privacy-related HR advisory matters
- Experience supporting the development of privacy frameworks and policies
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
