The role sits across the firm's UK offices (including Bristol and Edinburgh) and involves advising on major infrastructure, energy and redevelopment projects, working alongside projects, real estate, finance and corporate colleagues.
You will handle complex construction and engineering matters across sectors such as renewable energy, nuclear, transport, defence and large-scale infrastructure. The role offers responsibility from day one, opportunities to lead aspects of matters, and scope to build industry relationships and contribute to sector groups.
The team operates with a collaborative, flexible hybrid-working approach and supports career development, inclusive recruitment and accessible processes.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or solicitor/advocate admitted to the Law Society of Scotland (SRA or Law Society of Scotland registration).
- Proven experience on high-quality, complex construction and engineering projects (infrastructure, energy or large-scale development).
- Strong drafting and advisory skills on construction contracts and dispute avoidance/management.
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills, with experience supervising and developing more junior lawyers.
- Effective matter management and involvement in business development or sector-facing activities.
