A flexible-contract opportunity within a leading international law firm's construction/projects resourcing team. The role is focused on front-end construction advice for major infrastructure and projects in the Brisbane market, working on contract structure, delivery models and risk allocation.

You will support commercial teams and project stakeholders across the lifecycle of large-scale works (road, rail, energy and renewables are typical), provide drafting and negotiation input, and manage legal project workstreams on short- to medium-term engagements.

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification construction/projects experience
  • Strong front-end construction experience on major infrastructure or renewable projects
  • Proven drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills on project contracts and delivery structures
  • Experience advising government or public-sector clients highly regarded
  • Demonstrable legal project management, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously on fixed-term/consulting engagements and prioritise competing matters
  • Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia
