Join a global legal consulting platform as a consulting lawyer advising on banking and finance matters across Australia. You will take on varied short- to medium-term assignments, working with in-house teams, financial institutions and law firm practice groups on regulatory, transactional and project work.

Typical work includes corporate finance, derivatives/OTC derivatives regulation, structured and leveraged finance, financial markets compliance implementation, funds/investment management and project & infrastructure finance. Assignments are flexible in duration and arrangement and can be part-time or fixed-term.

Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted practising rights
Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) — experience in top-tier law firms or leading financial institutions preferred
Strong technical banking & finance experience (corporate finance, derivatives, structured/leveraged finance, project finance)
Ability to work autonomously as a consultant or via an independent legal practice; adaptable to varied assignment styles
Excellent communication, client-service focus, commercial awareness and ability to operate in multi-jurisdictional project teams
