Join a global legal consulting panel supporting corporate and commercial matters across Australia. This role suits experienced corporate/M&A lawyers who want flexible, project-based work: assignments can be ad-hoc with the firm s practice or embedded in-house with clients for fixed periods.

Typical matters include mergers & acquisitions, private equity, general corporate advisory and compliance, commercial contracts, payments/fintech, technology/data privacy, competition and employment-related work. Assignments vary in length and commitment and are offered when there is demand for specific expertise.

Consultants receive structured support from a dedicated consultant management team and access to firm training, knowledge resources and networking opportunities while working on the panel.

  • Qualified to practise in Australia with unrestricted admission
  • Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience, ideally with top-tier firm or major corporate/financial institution experience
  • Strong technical M&A and commercial contracting experience; private equity, fintech or technology experience desirable
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously on short- and medium-term engagements; excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Right to live and work in Australia and willingness to engage as a casual consultant or via an independent legal practice
