Experienced finance lawyer sought for a consulting panel providing fixed-term and project-based assignments (typically six months or more) across bank, capital markets and structured-finance work. The role offers access to high-quality international matters, professional support and training while allowing consultants to manage a flexible, self-directed practice.

Assignments will span derivatives, structured finance and capital markets matters for corporates and financial institutions across the region. The programme provides administrative and knowledge resources and opportunities to work on cross-border, multi-disciplinary teams while remaining based in Hong Kong.

Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience, with top-tier law firm or equivalent experience in finance-related work
Right to live and work in Hong Kong
Qualified to practise in at least one of England & Wales, the US, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia
Comfortable operating as an independent consultant; prepared to set up a Personal Services Company
Strong technical knowledge in derivatives, structured finance or capital markets; Asian or regional experience preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; client-service focused and commercially minded
Resilient, adaptable and able to lead or contribute within complex, multi-national project teams
