An established global consulting platform is seeking senior projects and construction lawyers for client-facing assignments across Australia and the Middle East. Roles are typically multi-month consulting engagements advising on large-scale infrastructure, transport, water, waste, energy and PPP matters.

Candidates will advise governments, developers, contractors and investors on project structuring and delivery, project documentation, project finance, due diligence and construction/maintenance contracts. Opportunities may require relocation or routine travel to the UAE or Saudi Arabia and offer flexible working arrangements to accommodate time-zone differences.

  • Qualified to practise in Australia with an unrestricted practising certificate (or ability to obtain one)
  • Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience, with a portion gained in a comparable law firm
  • Technical experience across projects, front-end construction, infrastructure and project finance; renewable energy experience highly regarded
  • Experience advising governments and commercial stakeholders on project structuring, contracts, delivery and due diligence
  • Willingness to work as a consultant via the platform (casual employee or independent practice) and to relocate or travel to the Middle East where required
  • Strong commercial acumen, client-service focus, and ability to operate autonomously in multi-jurisdictional project teams
