Senior contentious construction lawyer role joining a busy Leeds construction team handling disputes and risk management under standard forms (JCT, NEC and bespoke contracts) across private and public-sector projects.

The role offers a central position on high‑value, complex matters with responsibility for client relationship development, supervising more junior fee‑earners and helping grow the practice.

Applicants will join a cohesive, high‑performing team that works closely with real estate, banking and projects colleagues to provide integrated project and dispute advice.

  • Qualified solicitor with minimum c.7 years' post‑qualification experience in contentious construction law.
  • Proven experience on disputes under JCT, NEC and other standard form/bespoke construction contracts.
  • Track record supervising and developing junior fee earners and taking lead roles on matters.
  • Strong technical background in construction law with commercial awareness across public and private sector projects.
  • Excellent academic record (minimum 2:1 degree) and strong communication and client management skills.
