Apply in confidence →Flexible, remote contract role for a mid-to-senior employment attorney to join an established firm's alternative staffing program supporting a large institutional client. The assignment focuses on demand letters, agency charge matters, and related employment work; attorneys will coordinate with client teams, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
The engagement is part-time (anticipated 20–25 hours/week), initially six months with possible extension, and requires the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines, produce high-quality written work, and work independently while collaborating with colleagues as needed.
- 5+ years' employment law experience in a mid-to-large law firm or in-house setting
- Active bar admission in your state of residence and in a state where the hiring firm maintains an office (residency and admission in CA, OR, or WA preferred)
- Proven experience handling demand letters and agency charge matters; strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent legal research, drafting, communication, and time-management skills; ability to meet competing deadlines
- Availability for ~20–25 hours per week on a remote, contract basis
