Contract Lawyer — eDiscovery & Document Review, Bristol

An established UK law firm is seeking contract-qualified lawyers to join a large-scale disclosure and eDiscovery programme in Bristol. This is a fixed-term, hybrid engagement (occasional office attendance) focused on document review, quality control and defensible disclosure delivery under senior supervision.

You'll work across first- and second-level review workflows, perform QC checks, help maintain audit-ready review records, run searches in eDiscovery platforms (including Relativity or similar) and escalate issues or themes to senior lawyers. The assignment is expected to run 3–6 months and will be engaged via an umbrella arrangement on a daily rate.

  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent (UK or other jurisdiction); typically 0–3 years PQE
  • Experience in eDiscovery, litigation or document review projects, including hands-on use of Relativity or similar platforms
  • Demonstrable quality-control experience on disclosure or review exercises
  • Good understanding of relevance, privilege and disclosure processes
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication and a methodical, escalation-focused working style
  • Flexibility over hours to meet project deadlines
