Corporate Associate — M&A & Securities, Toronto

Growing corporate group seeks an associate to work on public and private M&A, corporate finance and ongoing securities compliance matters. The role is based in Toronto and involves domestic and cross-border transactions and client advisory work.

The team offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with mentoring and exposure to sophisticated transactions. Candidates will support deal execution, draft documents, coordinate with counsel across jurisdictions and provide practical commercial advice to clients.

• 2–5 years of post-call corporate and securities experience at a reputable law firm (Canada, US or UK experience considered)
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, public and/or private financings and securities/compliance matters
• Strong drafting, communication skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter who works well under pressure and provides excellent client service
• Strong academic record
