Senior associate-level role on a national technology transactions team, based in Toronto with hybrid flexibility. The role sits at the intersection of technology and corporate deals and focuses on managing technology due diligence for mergers, acquisitions and other transactional matters.

The successful candidate will use AI-enabled tools to support tech due diligence, draft and negotiate ancillary commercial agreements (software assignments, domain transfers, licensing and SaaS arrangements), and work closely with corporate colleagues to address technology-related transaction issues. There is scope to help develop process playbooks and support transition services and commercialization assessments.

1–3 years post-call experience at a national or major commercial firm; prior exposure to M&A and technology transactions is an asset
Familiarity with technology-related commercial agreements (licences, SaaS, professional services) and technology due diligence; experience using AI-enabled review tools an advantage
Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills; ability to work proactively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
