Short-term contract role (to July 2027) for a transaction-focused lawyer to support corporate deals using technology-enabled processes. The role centers on due diligence and contract review, managing deal rooms and electronic closings, preparing closing documents and books, and assisting with disclosure schedules and minute book updates.

The team is focused on streamlining transactional work through technology and process improvements; the role will also help evaluate and implement tools that increase efficiency. The position is flexible on location and can be based in Ottawa, Toronto or fully remote within Ontario.

Called to the Ontario Bar (new calls welcome)
Experience in corporate law with exposure to M&A, private equity and/or capital markets
Practical experience with due diligence, contract analysis and transaction closings
Comfortable using technology and learning new workflow/transactional tools
