Our client, a prominent law firm with a strong corporate and commercial practice, is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its Madrid-based team as an Associate. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general commercial law. The role involves a mix of substantive legal work, client contact, and participation in cross-border matters, operating within a hybrid work model.

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized university, with a master's degree in corporate/commercial law preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate law practice, preferably with a top-tier or large law firm.
In-depth knowledge of Spanish corporate law and commercial transactions, including ability to draft and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken) is required; additional European languages are a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work as part of a team, and collaborate with colleagues across jurisdictions.
Admission to the relevant Spanish Bar is required.
