About You
You are an experienced corporate commercial lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience & Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience providing legal support within an in-house legal team, private practice firm or renewable energy project environment
- Strong drafting, reviewing and negotiating experience across a broad range of commercial agreements and project-related contracts
- Proven ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives
- Experience drafting and advising on land agreements, including leases, licences, easements, access agreements and other property-related arrangements
- Strong understanding of property law principles, project development issues and land access considerations relevant to infrastructure or renewable energy projects
- Experience providing routine corporate and commercial legal advice across operational and strategic matters
- Ability to support legal risk management, compliance and regulatory initiatives within a corporate environment
- Experience conducting legal research and analysing legislation, regulations and legal developments
- Ability to identify legal and commercial risks and provide practical, solutions-focused recommendations
- Experience supporting project teams and stakeholders throughout project development and delivery phases
- Strong drafting skills, including legal advice, agreements, correspondence and governance documentation
- Renewable energy project experience — including development, land, approvals or operational matters — would be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with senior lawyers and broader teams
