Corporate M&A Associate — New York

Top-tier New York corporate team seeks a junior to mid-level associate (3–6 years' experience) to support a broad, market-leading transactional practice. Work will focus on private equity-backed and strategic M&A, SPAC transactions, growth equity and venture capital deals, distressed acquisitions, and cross-border transactions.

The role involves managing deal workstreams across all phases of transactions: drafting and negotiating acquisition and investment agreements and ancillary documents, leading due diligence, coordinating with tax, benefits, IP, employment and real estate specialists, interacting with clients, and assisting on closings and post-closing matters. Significant client-facing responsibility and exposure to complex, high-profile matters is available early on.

• 3–6 years' transactional experience (private equity and M&A preferred)
• Proven experience on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and investments, including SPACs, growth equity, and distressed deals
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
