Private Equity M&A Mid–Senior Associate — New York

Experienced associate opportunity to join a busy private equity M&A team in New York. The role involves substantive participation on buy‑ and sell‑side transactions and related corporate work across leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture capital, exits and equity compensation matters.

Successful candidates will work collaboratively on deal teams while managing discrete components of transactions independently and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

The group seeks proactive lawyers with strong commercial judgment, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished client/counsel management abilities.

• 3–6 years of relevant private equity / M&A experience
• Track record on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture capital and equity compensation
• Ability to manage transaction components independently and work effectively on teams
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law‑firm experience
• Relevant bar admission or prompt eligibility to obtain admission; deal sheet required
