We are seeking a qualified Corporate Tax Lawyer with 1–2 years' PQE to join a busy corporate tax team in Birmingham. The role offers exposure to both transactional and advisory work across corporation tax, property tax, employment tax, funds and financing tax, and cross‑border matters.

You will work on a mix of M&A-related tax advice, restructurings, joint ventures, fund investments and tax aspects of property and financing transactions. The team operates on UK and international mandates and collaborates regularly with colleagues in other offices.

The role provides structured training and career development, regular client contact and opportunities to take responsibility for your own matters while receiving support from senior tax lawyers.

Qualified solicitor/chartered tax adviser with 1–2 years post‑qualification experience.
Experience of corporate tax work, ideally gained during a training contract at a national/large regional or City firm; transactional M&A exposure desirable.
Strong technical tax knowledge across corporate, property and cross‑border tax issues.
Commercial judgment, excellent academics, and strong interpersonal/teamworking skills.
