Associate - Tax

Senior corporate tax team is seeking an Associate to join a UK-wide practice handling transactional and standalone tax advice for UK and international clients. The team advises across corporate tax, VAT, international tax and tax disputes, and is particularly active on venture capital matters, share incentive schemes and investor tax reliefs.

The role involves fee-earning work on purchases and disposals, tax structuring and drafting/negotiating tax provisions and deeds. The team operates a hybrid working pattern (up to 50% remote) with flexible working options available.

• 2-5 years post-qualification experience in corporate tax
• Experience advising on M&A tax issues, share incentive schemes and investor tax reliefs (e.g. EIS/SEIS)
• Strong drafting skills and experience with tax deeds/warranties
• Confident client-facing skills, commercial awareness and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; excellent written and oral communication
