Apply in confidence →Senior construction lawyer role based in either Birmingham or Glasgow with hybrid working. Join a nationally‑focused Projects, Infrastructure & Construction (PIC) team that advises across infrastructure, energy, development and public sector projects.
The role will see you lead on complex post‑contract disputes and advisory work, acting in adjudication, arbitration and Technology & Construction Court matters, and supporting bids, insolvency‑related construction issues and other project lifecycle matters.
This is a hands‑on senior position with opportunities to supervise junior lawyers, contribute to team strategy and business development, and progress within a growing, investment‑backed practice.
- Qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) with 6+ years' PQE and significant contentious construction experience
- Experience of disputes and advisory work on delay, disruption, defects, building/fire safety and payment issues
- Familiarity with standard forms such as NEC, JCT and FIDIC
- Proven experience supervising junior staff and a track record in business development and client relationship management
- Confident communicator able to provide strategic advice to senior clients and stakeholders
