Apply in confidence →Join the Strategic Contracts team of a global, full-service law firm with more than 5,000 people across over 30 countries. We are recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate (2–6 years PQE) to advise on a broad range of commercial matters, from high-value strategic arrangements to day-to-day contracts.
This role offers the chance to work with a national team on local, national, and international projects, including some of the largest supply chain contracts, particularly in the aerospace and automotive sectors. You will also provide commercial support to our corporate and real estate transactional teams, and collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups globally.
We are looking for someone with strong technical and drafting skills, a detailed knowledge of different contract types, and an understanding of the legal, commercial, and operational issues that impact clients. You should be commercially aware, enjoy business development, and be able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

- 2–6 years PQE with a solid foundation in contract law in private practice
- Detailed knowledge of different types of contracts, strong technical and drafting skills
- Understanding of key legal, commercial, and operational issues affecting clients' contracts
- Familiarity with specialist support areas such as TUPE, data protection, and competition law
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with clients from various sectors
- Ability to deal with competing demands from multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines
- Research skills and familiarity with precedents and legal resources
- Experience supporting junior colleagues (preferred)
- Networking and business development skills
