Corporate Transactional Associate — Akron

Growing corporate practice in Akron seeks a transactional associate to work on a broad range of corporate matters, with a particular emphasis on M&A, commercial contracts and transaction documentation. The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating asset and stock purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, operating and shareholders agreements, financing and other commercial arrangements.

The team advises clients across the lifecycle — from start-ups and middle-market companies to public and not-for-profit organizations — on entity formation, governance, corporate finance, securities matters and reorganizations. This is a hybrid role based in the Akron office with a competitive benefits package.

• 3–7 years of transactional corporate experience (PQE)
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, commercial contracts and ancillary transaction documents
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
• Admission to the Ohio bar required
• Ability to work in a hybrid office model
