Apply in confidence →Our client, a leading global law firm, seeks a Counsel to join its Commercial Contracts team, providing strategic legal support across the firm's procurement and contracting functions. This hybrid role partners with Legal, Procurement, Operations, IT, Marketing, and HR to draft, negotiate, and review a high volume of diverse agreements—from services, confidentiality, and SaaS contracts to licenses, events, HR/benefits, technical, and AI-related matters. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, supporting SLAs and training, and serving as a trusted advisor on supplier contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience drafting and negotiating supplier and technology contracts for global organizations.
- Licensing: Juris Doctor (JD) with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Skills: Strong command of contract terms, regulatory requirements, IT, and data management; exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Mindset: Collaborative, solutions-oriented, with sound judgment, discretion, and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Preferred: Experience developing contract negotiation playbooks, processes, and training; proven experience drafting and negotiating AI-related agreements.
