Senior Counsel role within a national insurance coverage practice, open across multiple U.S. offices. The position is primarily advisory and non‑litigation, focused on complex coverage analysis and producing high‑quality coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and coverage memoranda.

The role involves advising insurer clients on commercial liability and excess matters, including emerging areas of exposure. You will collaborate with claims teams and in‑house counsel, manage matters and deadlines, and mentor junior lawyers. Candidates admitted in California or Washington are preferred but attorneys licensed in other U.S. jurisdictions will be considered.

Admission to practice in California, Washington, or another U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing
10+ years of insurance coverage experience (third‑party coverage experience preferred)
Proven strength in legal research, drafting detailed coverage opinions and memoranda, and clear written/oral communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and mentor junior attorneys
