Apply in confidence →Midlevel litigation associate opportunity within a national cyber/data/privacy group. The role focuses on privacy and data-security litigation and regulatory enforcement matters, supporting and leading significant projects across several U.S. offices.
Work will include defending data-breach and related consumer-class actions, and handling regulatory investigations and enforcement matters brought by state attorneys general, the FTC, and similar bodies. The team is multidisciplinary and regularly collaborates across offices on high‑profile, cross‑border matters.
The group seeks attorneys who can engage directly with clients, draft and analyze complex pleadings and briefs, and contribute to strategy in both litigation and investigatory contexts.
- 4–6 years post-qualification litigation or regulatory investigations experience, with a focus on privacy/data-security matters
- Experience defending data-privacy class actions and/or handling consumer-protection regulatory investigations (state AGs, FTC, etc.)
- Excellent legal research, analytical and drafting skills; proven ability to manage and lead substantial projects
- Comfortable with technology-related issues and collaborative, client-facing work
