National technology practice is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Cyber/Data/Privacy team across multiple U.S. offices. The group advises a broad range of clients — including emerging and public companies, tech and life sciences firms, and financial institutions — on privacy, cybersecurity and related regulatory matters.

The role emphasizes advisory work and support on privacy compliance (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other regimes), privacy and security aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, and related investigations and litigation. The team is growing and offers opportunities to lead client engagements and contribute to cross-border matters.

  • 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience in privacy/cyber law, at a law firm or in-house.
  • Practical knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other privacy frameworks; experience with data processing agreements and privacy due diligence for transactions.
  • Experience with incident response planning and breach response matters.
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills; ability to manage client relationships and lead significant projects.
  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission (or eligibility) in the U.S.
