Apply in confidence →This remains an active confidential search at partner level. The requirement is re-confirmed each cycle with the client, and what follows is the current brief.
A senior partner-level role to lead and develop the cyber/technology practice across multiple UK offices. The role focuses on advising clients on cybersecurity, incident response, data protection, regulatory investigations and technology-risk matters, with substantial opportunity to build a market-leading team and offering.
The post-holder will work across offices on national and cross-border matters, advising boards, in-house legal teams and technology vendors on prevention, response and regulatory compliance. The role combines high-value client work with responsibility for practice development and business generation.
This is a strategic leadership position within an established, full-service firm with a significant UK technology offering; the successful candidate will have autonomy to shape service lines and grow the cyber capability.
- Established partner-level experience advising on cybersecurity, incident response and data protection issues
- Proven track record of winning and managing high-value clients and leading cross-office teams
- Experience handling regulatory investigations, breach response and cross-border matters
- Strong business development skills and demonstrable ability to grow a practice
- Qualified lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction (e.g. England & Wales) with substantial UK market experience
If the brief does not read like an exact match, it is still worth a conversation — partner briefs move with the candidate.
