Typical matters include HIPAA and state health-privacy compliance, vendor and data‑use agreements, AI-related data use and governance, privacy risk assessments, and cross‑border data flow issues. The role includes direct client interaction, managing discrete workstreams, and preparing client-ready deliverables.

3–5 years’ experience in privacy, technology regulatory counseling, or related roles (law firm, government, or in‑house)
Experience supporting privacy compliance in health and life sciences; familiarity with HIPAA, Part 2, GINA and state health/privacy laws preferred
Strong research, drafting and oral communication skills; ability to deliver client‑ready work in a fast‑paced environment
Membership in or eligibility for the D.C. Bar
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across teams; submission should include at least one substantive privacy/technology writing sample
