Seeking a junior-to-mid-level debt finance associate for a busy Finance & Banking practice in San Francisco. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a range of debt financing matters, with regular responsibility for document drafting, preparing issues lists and supporting closings.

The team handles secured lending and acquisition financing matters; familiarity with UCC Article 9, commitment letters and debt securities documentation is advantageous. The group offers formal training, mentorship and a full suite of employee benefits.

1–5 years' transactional experience in debt financing (lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors)
Practical knowledge of secured lending and UCC Article 9; experience with closing processes and document drafting
JD (or equivalent) and demonstrated strong academic performance
Prior training at a large law firm, ability to manage multiple matters, and strong attention to detail
