National U.S. law firm seeks a 1–3 year associate to join its Debt Finance practice. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on a variety of debt financing matters, including secured lending, acquisition financings and debt-securities transactions.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on closing experience, familiarity drafting transaction documents and issues lists, and a working knowledge of Article 9 UCC and related corporate law issues. The firm offers a competitive compensation range and a comprehensive benefits package.

1–3 years of relevant debt finance experience (candidates with less than one year should not apply)
Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on financing transactions
Working knowledge of secured lending and Article 9 of the UCC; familiarity with acquisition financing, commitment letters, and debt securities (high-yield/convertible) preferred
Proven experience in closing transactions and drafting transaction documents and issues lists
Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and demonstrated strong academic credentials
Prior training or experience at a large law firm, excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
