A national law firm is seeking 1st–3rd year associates for its Debt Finance practice. The role focuses on lender, borrower and private‑equity sponsor representation on debt financings across secured lending, acquisition financing and other corporate lending matters.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience closing transactions, preparing drafting checklists and documents, and familiarity with Article 9 UCC issues. Strong academic credentials, a JD (or equivalent), prior training at a large law firm and the ability to manage multiple matters with close attention to detail are required.

1–3 years of post‑JD transactional experience in debt finance (lenders, borrowers and/or private‑equity sponsor representation)
Practical knowledge of secured lending and Article 9 UCC issues; experience with acquisition financing and debt securities is a plus
Proven experience participating in closings, drafting deal documents and preparing issues lists
JD or equivalent from an accredited law school and strong academic record; prior large‑law training preferred
Ability to manage multiple matters, deliver accurate work product and meet deadlines
