Apply in confidence →National U.S. law firm seeks a 1st or rd-year associate to join its Debt Finance practice. The role involves representing lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors on leveraged and secured lending transactions, with frequent responsibility for closing support and drafting transactional documents.
Successful candidates will join a busy team working across a range of debt financings. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and standard professional development and training typical of a large national firm.
- JD (or equivalent) and 1 or years of relevant transactional experience
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors on debt financings
- Working knowledge of secured lending and Article 9 UCC; experience with closing processes and drafting transaction documents
- High academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school; prior training at a large law firm; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters
