Apply in confidence →Senior in-house legal role responsible for leading risk, compliance and professional responsibility matters across the Asia Pacific region. You will work closely with the global Office of General Counsel to oversee anti-bribery, AML, regional regulatory issues, internal investigations and delivery of mandatory risk and compliance training.
The role provides first-instance legal advice to regional leadership and business teams, coordinates the regional risk community, manages outside counsel selection and oversight, and assists with claims and employment-related matters. Regular travel across Asia Pacific is required, with occasional international travel.
- Qualified lawyer with an undergraduate degree and a graduate law degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of 15 years' post-qualification experience.
- Significant in-house or law firm experience handling risk management, AML, anti-bribery and internal investigations.
- Proven ability to advise senior management and regional leadership; strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent drafting, research, analytical and project-management skills; comfortable working with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the Asia Pacific region.
