We are seeking a junior to mid‑level associate to join a busy Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) practice in Seattle. The role offers hands‑on work on venture financings and other corporate transactions for technology and startup clients, with early responsibility on deal teams.

Day‑to‑day work includes supporting venture capital financings (seed through later rounds), advising founders and emerging companies on governance and formation issues, and assisting with mergers, acquisitions, and secondary transactions. The role involves drafting and negotiating financing and governance documents and collaborating with specialists across the firm on related technology and privacy matters.

2–4 years of experience in emerging companies, venture capital, or corporate transactional work at a law firm
Experience with venture financings, startup formation, and general corporate matters preferred
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar
