Apply in confidence →Nationally focused labor & employment firm is seeking an experienced employee benefits attorney to join its U.S. team. The role supports employer-side benefits work across a range of matters, including ERISA and tax-qualified plan issues, health and welfare arrangements, COBRA and executive compensation.
The position can be based in one of several U.S. offices; the team works collaboratively across locations and advises clients on regulatory, compliance and transactional matters in a fast-moving legal environment. This is a client-facing role with opportunities to take on independent responsibility and contribute to business development efforts.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership
- Minimum 4 years' experience practicing employee benefits/ERISA law
- Practical experience with health & welfare plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, COBRA, deferred compensation and executive compensation preferred
- Strong legal writing, analytical and client-communication skills; able to manage matters independently and work on collaborative teams
