Top-tier national firm is seeking an associate (2-5 years PQE) to join its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices and will support regulatory, compliance, advisory, and transactional matters involving employee benefits and executive compensation arrangements.

Typical work includes interpreting and applying ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and agency guidance; advising on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, plan design and administration, and ongoing compliance obligations. The position offers substantive responsibility, close senior-level interaction, and work on a diverse client base across industries.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing; timely admission to the hiring office state required.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in employee benefits and executive compensation, including ERISA and Internal Revenue Code matters.
  • Experience advising on qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, plan design, administration, and compliance.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and matter-management skills; ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams.
