Apply in confidence →Join a dedicated employee incentives team that advises on the design, implementation and operation of executive and employee remuneration and share plans. The team handles tax-advantaged and non-tax-advantaged schemes, employee benefit trusts, executive tax planning and related regulatory and governance matters.
The role combines advisory and transactional work, supporting corporate deals including public and private M&A and partnering with corporate teams across UK offices. The team works collaboratively across locations; candidates can be based in London, Leeds or Manchester with a hybrid requirement (minimum three days in office per week).
This is a senior associate / managing associate level role with responsibility for managing files, contributing to business development and mentoring junior staff, supported by partners and senior lawyers on complex matters.
- Qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years PQE.
- Substantive experience advising on employee incentives and share schemes for public and private companies (eg EMI, CSOP, LTIP, growth shares, JSOP).
- Experience providing both tax and corporate advice, including drafting scheme documentation and employee communications.
- Track record supporting transactional work (M&A) and advisory matters; comfortable working across multiple offices.
- Ability to manage a personal workload, contribute to business development and mentor junior team members.
