Short-term (3 month) full-time, hybrid engagement for an experienced employment and industrial relations lawyer. The role sits within a large financial-services client team and focuses on payroll remediation and system implementation support.

The successful candidate will work with the internal IR team to review and draft business requirements, identify gaps in a payroll platform build, and support end-to-end remediation to ensure compliance with employment and industrial relations law.

  • Minimum 5 years' employment/IR experience
  • Demonstrated payroll remediation experience, including drafting business requirements and supporting platform remediation
  • Experience analysing and interpreting Enterprise Agreements and applicable wage payment legislation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to simplify complex IR/employment issues
  • Current practising certificate and right to work in Australia
