Short-term (3 month), full-time (hybrid) role with a leading international law firm's flexible legal-resourcing team. The engagement sits within the Employment & Industrial Relations practice supporting a major financial-services client on a payroll remediation program.

The role involves reviewing and drafting business requirements for a new payroll platform, identifying gaps in the current system build, and supporting end-to-end remediation to ensure compliance with employment and industrial relations obligations. You will work closely with an internal IR team and stakeholders across the business.

  • Minimum ~5 years' employment / industrial relations experience
  • Proven payroll remediation or wage-and-hour compliance experience, including drafting business requirements for payroll systems
  • Strong knowledge of industrial relations law and Enterprise Agreements
  • Ability to analyse complex employment issues and communicate clearly to stakeholders at all levels
  • Current practising certificate and legal right to work in Australia
