Senior Associate — Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (Brisbane)

Experienced employment lawyer wanted to join a market-leading Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) practice in Brisbane. This is a full-time, permanent senior associate role within a busy team supporting a wide range of workplace matters across industrial relations, employment law, work health & safety and anti‑discrimination.

The role offers exposure to significant and varied matters including industrial strategy and disputes, compliance and regulatory work, restructures, underpayment matters and litigation in tribunals and courts. You'll work closely with senior practitioners and contribute to the growth and delivery of the practice.

The team serves large listed and private sector employers, universities and government clients. The firm supports flexible working arrangements and offers development and mentoring responsibilities for more junior lawyers.

• Proven experience at senior associate level in employment and industrial relations matters; occupational health & safety experience desirable
• Strong commercial drafting and advisory skills; clear, concise written and oral communication
• Proven ability to manage matters, work autonomously and prioritise competing deadlines
• Demonstrated client-facing skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Track record of mentoring and developing junior team members; proactive approach to personal and professional development
