Associate (1-3 years) — Employment & Labor

Fast-paced Employment & Labor group seeking a litigation-aware associate to support counseling and transactional work. The role is open in the firm's Reston, VA or Washington, DC office and will handle a mix of employment counseling, executive employment and separation agreements, and employment-related aspects of M&A.

Ideal candidates will have broad experience advising on statutory and regulatory compliance and be comfortable drafting and negotiating employment documents. Litigation experience is a plus. The team offers a full benefits program and parental leave support.

• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in employment & labor law
• Experience with employment counseling, statutory and regulatory compliance
• Experience drafting/negotiating executive employment and separation agreements; employment aspects of M&A transactions
• Some litigation experience preferred; strong academic record and communication skills
