An established flexible-resourcing team within a leading international firm is seeking experienced employment lawyers to join its pool of legal consultants in Melbourne. Roles are consultancy/contract or casual and typically hybrid, offering control over days and hours while supporting major corporate clients and internal practice groups.

The work covers a broad range of employment matters — advisory, investigations, litigation, industrial relations, collective bargaining, restructures and remediation/compliance programs — with opportunities to lead discrete projects and advise internal stakeholders. Successful candidates will be able to start quickly and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Minimum 5 years' specialist employment law experience
  • Experience across employee relations, employment litigation, investigations, advisory/compliance, and industrial relations/collective bargaining
  • Exposure to large-scale remediation or payroll compliance programs and to regulators such as the Fair Work Ombudsman and industrial tribunals
  • Knowledge of Work Health & Safety and anti-discrimination law
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and project-management skills; able to work autonomously and prioritise
  • Right to live and work in Australia and ability to hold (or obtain) a current practising certificate
  • Willingness to engage via an incorporated legal practice or on a casual/contract basis
