Top-tier energy team in San Francisco is seeking a mid-level associate (3–6 years) to join a busy, growing practice focused on electric, gas and renewable sector matters. The group handles a mix of litigation, regulatory proceedings and public-policy work for utilities, generators, transmission owners, and clean‑energy companies.

Day-to-day work includes legal research and writing, client counseling, drafting pleadings and discovery, preparing and taking depositions and witness interviews, working with experts, and advocacy before regulatory agencies and courts. The role offers exposure to fast-moving, complex matters and collaborative team-based practice.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and 3–6 years of litigation and/or regulatory experience
Active membership in the California Bar
Strong legal research and writing skills; excellence in oral advocacy
Demonstrated case-management experience and ability to handle complex, fast-moving matters
Detail-oriented self-starter who works well in collaborative teams; commitment to pro bono work
